Deposit - Tips - Travel
We ask that you pay a $250 deposit after speaking with your officiant. The deposit will book them for your day and is non-refundable (exceptions: payment in full required for the Swept Off My Feet package, $1000 deposit for Simply Romantic package, $1700 deposit for helicopter packages).

As for tipping, it’s never expected but always appreciated. As a rule of thumb, if you are tipping any of your vendors, consider tipping your Officiant as well, they have spent many hours creating your perfect ceremony. Or, better yet, give a review if you appreciated your officiant!
…
There will be a travel fee if your ceremony is more than 25 km from your Officiant’s house at the 2024 CRA recommended amount of .70/km. With the price of gas these days we’re certain you understand!
Are your ceremonies legal?
Yes! All of our Officiants are licensed to perform wedding ceremonies in the province of BC. We’re the reason your marriage is official and not just a big, fun party!
How do we get our license and certificate?
You must purchase your marriage license in person in the province in which you are getting married. Be sure to bring your license to the wedding ceremony or better yet, the rehearsal if your officiant will be doing one for you.
Your officiant will ensure the license is properly filled out and signed, and send it to Vital Statistics for you. You’ll receive your marriage certificate in the mail in 3-6 weeks.
